Not sure what to say?

I worked at Cape Cod Hospital for one year as a Temp. It truly helped me to realize just how much each person does. Dr Ecker was a great man. Prayers & deepest Sympathy to the family. R.I.P. Dr Ecker. I was truly blessed to meet all the people @ Cape Cod Hospital.

I think, the sky opened up and wept, when Dr. Rik Ecker passed! Taken way too soon from us, and his kindness and his compassion for his patients and comrades. What an amazing life, covering all corners of this earth. We will miss his smile. God bless you

It was a pleasure working with Dr Ecker. He will be greatly missed.

From one who's life Rick touched for 10 years as we briefly shared our work life and very, very briefly a golf course. A truly simpathetic soul! I am lucky he passed through my life! My sincere sympathy to his family.

Shocked and saddened by Rick's passing - as I revisit memories of working with Rick at CCH, the hospital sponsored get togethers, the empathetic way he had in treating his patients, the sense of loss is great - we were his (work) family, and we love(d) him. Sending wholehearted sympathies to his family - I know he was surrounded by love

My sympathies, Rick will be missed.

I met Rick at Cape Cod Hospital. Such a caring compassionate all around pleasant man. Can not say enough towards his empathy encouragement and caring toward others even his staff. You could walk away knowing, this shall pass. As I read Rick's obituary made me realize why he was the man he was. Rick will truly be missed.

Sad to Hear of Dr. Ecker passing He was a great teacher to the EMS system as a paramedic with questions on a cardiac call Rick would take the time to help explain what he saw on the the EKG Always helpful He will be missed Great man and friend Fireman Glen Brewster Fire retired

I first met Rik about five years ago when a mutual friend asked if there might be room in our painting group. For the past five years Rik has been a very important part of our painting group, attending regularly and working hard on the art of drawing and painting. He took his art very seriously and was looking forward to pursuing painting into his retirement years. In the few years I knew him we became close friends, like a brother to me. Rik was always supportive and encouraging and helpful....
