So sad to hear of Henry's passing...Mr. Vonk, he will forever be...my brother Warren and I have been reminiscing about our days in Henry's classes at Lipton school and the funny Henryisms he would often say.

I had the privilege of sharing a canoe with Mr. Vonk, during a five day Outdoor Ed. trip down the Qu'Appelle River...never a dull moment!

He was a wonderful, dedicated teacher...it was Henry who ensured I graduated with an...

So sorry to hear of Henry's passing. My heart and prayers go out to all of Henry's family and friends. I remember him from Lestock where he was teaching. Always a sense of humor. He will be missed by many.

My condolences to the family. Mr Vonk was one of the most memorable teachers in Lipton and was greatly admired and respected. For countless students he cultivated a love for Football to Industrial Arts, Track and Field to History, Broom Ball to Science, Badminton to Math. Occasionally we attempted to play pranks on him only to have them turned around back on us. We considered him a teacher as well as a friend. He was always able to put a smile on someones face and he authentically cared for...

emily,perry and family....mr.vonk...was a wonderful teacher one who cared about his students...even post high school....ill remember out canoe trip , teasing him about being a bomber fan...his little head shake as he told me i couldnt go to the washroom...lol...death leaves a heartache no one can heal love leaves a memory no one can steal...keep your husband, father and grandfathers memory close...thinking of you all at this sad time...

Sending thoughts of sympathy to hear of Mr. Vonks passing ..... After 35 yrs being one of his students he was still Mr. Vonk to me ! I can easily picture him in my mind .... Running outside with us on the soccer field , and being on the football field .... He had a quick brisk walk down the hallways !
