Don always had a smile and seemed content despite the issues he faced on a regular basis. While intending to get to the celebration of Don's life yesterday, I missed it due to unforeseen events. So here's wishing cherished memories for all his children and many descendants (from Marian's sister).

While I never personally met your Dad, during our conversations as you made preparations to care for him at home, it was very obvious that he was dearly loved and that his passing would leave a huge void in your life. Now, in your private moments of grief, as your tears flow and your heart aches for one more moment together with him, the darkness of sorrow washes over you. But, remember, if there was no love, tears would not so readily flow and hearts would not so keenly...

Dear Patti so very sorry to hear about Don's passing. He is no longer in pain and enjoying himself up there. Take good memories and keep them near to your heart. Next time you play bingo play one for him, I remember him enjoying playing bingo. Another star in the heavens for Don. God Bless.

It was a pleasure working with Don for a number of years in Morrisburg.

Had the pleasure of Don's acquaintance some years ago, while working a project together.

I recall his friendship with the late Father Baxter of local fame and knew him to be a sincere, honest, long-suffering, patient, kind and gentle man of God.

My family and I will pray for the repose of his soul.

Eternal rest grant unto his soul Oh Lord and let Your Perpetual Light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithful departed, through The Mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen
