Henri Jova painting

Dear Mr. Rinehart,

I'm very sorry to hear of Mr. Jova's passing. I wanted to let you know I own one of his paintings, and it is well cared for. He will be missed ...

David,

I will treasure my many memories of Henri beginning in 1961. He truly was a gift to all who knew him. My deepest sympathy to you.

Frances

David,

Marsha and I were sorry to hear about Henry's passing. We had some wonderful times at your house in midtown. The house was beautiful, the hospitality was special, and Henry was so much fun to talk to. He was a real presence in people's lives. We will miss him.

Bill and Marsha Durlin

I was very young and uninformed when I first met Henri but I knew enough to absorb all I could from him. I count myself lucky indeed to share even a small bit of his life, humor, and talent. David, one of the highlights of my travels was the week in Spain with you and Henri. He was a very special man and my heart is with you in your loss.

RIP Henri, my friend.

My sincere sympathy to David and the Jova family. I had the privilege to work with Henri from 1998 until he retired and some after that. I thoroughly enjoyed every day, Henri's sense of humor was truly refreshing. He was a wonderful architect and will be missed.

My grandfather Francis Abreu and Henri were cousins. My mother Consuelo Abreu Mallory was very close to Henri and loved him like a brother for her entire life. She was 11 years younger but passed away in 1999. I have grown up with art created by Henri in our home. With my parents gone it was so nice for my three boys to have met Henri as they grew up. Lots of love to David on his loss, he helped Henri stay vibrant till the end. Peter

We are so sory to get the news about Henry...we were friends for a very long time...back to the Merry Mutes days and longer. Wonderful person!

We met Henri in the early 60's and had the distinct pleasure to have dinners together over the years. The architectural community has lost a great talent. He will be missed.
