Henrietta Helen (Vande Kieft) Rooy, age 97, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Henrietta was born in Tracy, Iowa on May 24, 1927, and graduated from Tracy Consolidated School. She married Martin "John" Rooy on February 19, 1947. Together, they farmed for eight years....
Read MoreJust heard about Henrietta´s death. She was a true friend during the years we worked together and for a few years afterwards. Sorry we lost contact with each other. Her funeral was the same day as my brother so could not attend. You have my deepest condolences. You all had a wonderful mother. She was special.

Your family lived across the street from my grandparents ( the VanDuinen´s). I remember going to your house & seeing your mom caring for your dad. It sounds like she a long & fulfilling life! I knew Denny. My dad died 10 years ago & my mom 5 years ago. I´m sure you remember them. It´s sad not having your parents around anymore! Thinking of you, Karen Oosterbaan Speyer
