Not sure what to say?

Even though it has been a few weeks . I want to extend my deepest sympathy to the Bishop/ Sims family. Many, many, many years ago 329 -63rd Street was my Saturday morning school. Mrs.Bishop-Sims was my piano teacher. She was more than my piano teacher , she taught me many life lessons. From piano teacher, choir director , a true friend and confidante my adult life. She will always have a special place in my heart. "MY GIRL" Shari Woods-Scott

Prayers of comfort to the family. I was sadden to hear of her death. She was a great musician and stern but loving instructor.

With my deepest sympathy my prayers are with you and the family. Even when I Graduated Jackson elementary I will still go by just a visit and say hello she always remember who I was

Mother Sims has been an inspiration to us and we have been so blessed by her love and her life. Her care, love, wisdom, and love of God established a great legacy that we will always admire and remember. We love her and the family dearly and we pray for strength in this time.

Sending prayers for comfort during this time. Praying for your strength during this time of bereavement. God Bless.

My Soror, My Friend, My Mama Sims who always greeted us as "Hey Beautiful...Hey Handsome". She always made each of us feel special. I thank you for your guidance and your unconditional love and support. Forever in my heart!

I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs. Sims. She was a wonderful person and I will not forget her ability to never meet strangers and the gift she perfected in her musical abilities. I am sure that Mrs. Sims will leave rich memories for many couples who had their weddings directed and stages by this lovely lady, including myself. To the family of Mrs Sims, I offer my deepest condolences, a wonderful person has left for her heavenly home and you all in my prayers.

I remember her as my elementary teacher first as Ms Bishop then as Mrs.Sims. A lovely woman.

I met Ms Sims through her late husband and my Phi Beta Sigma fraternity brother W C Sims. She was always welcoming and the perfect hostess.
