Henry George Adams

I remember my Uncle telling stories of his capture in Germany.He always told the story with a German accent in a very humorous way( He could he was half German).He loved astronomy as far back as I can remember.On visits as a child he would get out the big telescope in Llewellyn Park to look at the skies with me and my brother.I have nice memories of sailboat rides.I wish we could have known each other better as I got older.Family really should never loose touch.

It was with much sadness that I learned of Henry's passing this past week. I was fond of his wife, although I only knew her slightly--but she and Hank impressed me with how close they were and devoted to each other. I wish them the best in the hereafter and pray for their remaining relatives, that they know how much Hank and Mary were devoted to each other. I will miss them at Llewellyn Park functions, but smile when I remember them.

My Uncle Henry had a great sense of humor. I'm quite sure that I got my sense of humor from him. I wish I we would have been closer in later years. I saw him more often when I was a child.
