Henry William Birrell Altrui, 5, of Montgomery, VT passed away on July 3, 2024 at his home. He was born on July 4, 2018 in Montreal, Quebec to Jeffrey and Emily (Birrell) Altrui.
Henry was a sweet little boy, limited to his wheelchair and his parents’ loving arms his whole life. He enjoyed being outside, being tickled and watching Cocomelon. His laugh was infectious.
He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Carole and Geoffrey Birrell, paternal grandfather Salvatore Altrui, uncle Brian Altrui, aunts Sandy Birrell (Rick Brown), Ann Birrell-Modi (Sean Modi), Joanna Birrell and numerous wonderful cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandmother Claire Altrui and uncle Scott Altrui.
Friends may call from 3-5 P.M. on Saturday July 13, 2024 at the Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home, 37 Lake Road, Newport, Vermont. A reception will follow at the Le Belvedere Restaurant, 100 Main Street, Newport, Vermont. If friends desire, memorial contributions in Henry’s name may be made to Mito Kids at mitoaction.org.
