Not sure what to say?

I was so sad to hear of Henry´s passing. I am the granddaughter of rene bardel (gus brother) henry helped me trace the roots of our family history in paris .So grateful that he cared where we came from and shared his research with me XO A wonderful man . My prayers and thoughts are with his family

Always a nice thing when there would be a knock on my door at night and it was Henry looking for a signature for a Green Party petition. A nice man with a lot of great ideas. I wish his family peace.

Thank you, Mr. Bardel, for caring about the environment and sustainability issues in public policy. You sound like a man of foresight and my condolences go to Eileen and all your loving family members. R.I.P.

My wife and I shared politics with Hank, plus he provided cuttings from his roses of Sharon, which now grow on the corner of my home. We always enjoyed Hank, and he was generous in sharing his time as well as his flowers.

Dear Eileen and family,
I’m very sorry for the loss of Henry and also grateful to him.
He was a good man!

“Hank, I owe you!”
Spoke those words many times. No response from Hank, save for a cavalier chuckle followed by broad smile from ear to ear. A debt that needed no payment. A response as true as his friendship. He was happy for me.
I was an usher at Hank’s and Eileen’s wedding where he introduced me to Elsy, Eileen’s friend. We married 50 years ago, raised a family and are still living a rich and happy life.
Thank you, Hank
