I've always been blessed to have the best uncle there ever was. I looked forward to seeing u once or twice a year when u came to Texas. I know u had several nieces but u always made me feel that I was your favorite. I'm sure u just made everyone feel that way. I know we didn't see each other much bc we lived 1500 miles apart, but each time we did, it was just as pleasant & we picked up where we left off last time. My daughter and son couldn't wait to get on the bus each morning and see Mr. Hank behind the wheel. He was cheerful & kind and always managed a moment say hi or talk a bit, and still be on schedule to school. We were blessed to know you Hank, and you will be missed.

Gosh what can I say he was truelly an amaizing person a heart of gold and a smile on his face and saying come here so I can smack you I'll always remember him as one of the best love u so!!!

I didn't get to know you for long but I could tell what kind of man you were from the few times I was able to meet you and talk with you. Hank was the first face my children saw when they got on the bus to go to Kindergarten at Andersonville. He was so warm, friendly and caring and handled their anxiety so well and took a personal interest in their well-being. My son is now in 5th grade and my daughter is in 3rd. Hank new all of us parents by name and always had a kind word to say. My kids and I were so saddened to hear this news. I hope he knew how liked and appreciated he was....most certainly by us.
