Hank was amazing - so energetic with a positive attitude and always a willingness to listen and help! A friend for 55 years, there are many fond memories of BoBo gatherings in Seal Beach and Belmont Shore, travels to the river, Mammoth (winter and summer), ski trips to Salt Lake City, and of course, to Ensenada! After Jennifer was born, we had many family get togethers as everyone expanded the group with cute kids! Hank´s cheerful attitude and entertaining stories will always be with us....

In the early 1970´s the BoBo gang used to travel to Mexico during the annual Newport to Ensenada yacht race. *See the attached photo of Hank and some of the gang in 1971 leaving Hussong´s Cantina in Ensenada. For some reason that I can´t recall we had a bit of a wait at the border area, maybe we were waiting for guys to get the cars insured? We were waiting for something or someone. There was a multi-tiered cement wall along the street at the US side of the Mexico border. I used to go...

Hank was a shining star of a human being. A calming presence. May his spirit live on in his family, friends and those of us who wish we could have spent more time with him.
