Not sure what to say?

Dear Jim and Marsha,
How sorry I was to hear of your father's death. I remember so fondly the wonderful times at your house during our high school years. In the mid 60's, your Dad gave me one of his old PDRs and I was forever hooked. So, he certainly gets some of the credit for my career choice. Now, when I teach my beginning nursing students, he is one of the physicians I use as an example of "caring about", not just "caring for", patients.

I worked with Dr. Bernet for the Illinois BDDS. So sorry to hear of his death. He was always so pleasant to be around. Easy to talk with, fun to joke with, and still be very professional.

My sympathy to the family.

I am a nurse at Memorial Med Center. I worked on 7A while your father worked there. He was always pleasant, kind , courteous, warming, like a father image to us all. We and his patients were very blessed to have him around as he showed us all what a special Doctor he was.I can still see him walking aound the corner and saying good morning to us all. We were sorry when he left us. My mother was at Continued Care last Summer. I saw him in the wheelchair and asked him his name. I know I knew him...

Dr. Bernet was kind enough to let me take over his Internal Medicine practice when he retired in 1981. He was a highly respected physician and a classy guy. I learned a lot from him, and have always tried to follow in his footsteps in how I care for patients. My sympathies to his family.

Marsha,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I send love and support from all of your CU friends.

Love,

Mary

Condolances to the family. I always enjoyed our association in the State Agency. He was a great man.

Dear Jim,

I'm so sorry to learn of your father's death. You and I knew each other at Blessed Sacrament School many years ago. Your Dad and mine were doctors who served with distinction. I just wanted to express my sympathy and let you know that you and your family are in my thoughts. My best, nick

Marsha and James
I was a patient of Dr. Bernets for 10 years until his retirement. He was an excellent Doctor and a wonderful person.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
You know that when you lose a Father or Mother you lose the best friend you ever had.
