Not sure what to say?

Sharon & Family of Rev. Botts,
We send our heartfelt sympathy and kindest thoughts to you. We share fond memories of Rev. Botts when he was the pastor of St. Johns Baptist Church in Sioux Falls, SD. My mother & I have a book of his poetry that is so meaningful to us. Be comforted knowing that he is at peace with the Lord after his many years of delivering God's messages & seeing that many accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior! His job was well done!

We were lucky to have the chance to know Henry at Our Lady of Good Counsel. It was such a blessing to see him everyday that we visited our dad. Henry was an amazing guy with so much life behind him. He loved his family very much and always talked to us about you all. We arrived to visit Dad on Sunday and Henry's bed was empty which meant God took him home. Amen for Henry!

Although he is finally home with Jesus, I will miss seeing him everyday.

God bless his loving...

I have only known uncle Henry since 1985, but I have been interested in him ever since then. He was an example of creativity and longevity, with his poetry and life experience, being able to see man progress from prop engine planes and living in a country that considered African-Americans as second-class citizens to seeing man walk in the moon and an African-American president. Although I did not know him long, I treasured knowing a man that has experienced as much as he has, and was so...

You all have my deepest heart felt condolences. What a Mighty God We Serve and What an Awesome Man of God in Rev. Botts. The first scripture that came to my mind is "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith", 2 Timothy 4:7. Praise the Lord for Rev. Bott! You all are in my prayers.

We love you all. We will miss Dad. The Curry-Kinser Family

My prayers are with the family, Alan & Aaron, what a Blessing to have such a remarkable grand father, blessings to your family. Angels in heaven are rejoicing!

Mom and Family,
Our hearts are with you and you know we love you all. Granddad left us the treasure of his words a legacy that will carry on always. His life was an inspiration to us all. He was a honorable, loving and wise man. I will miss listening to him recite his poetry and talking with the kids. We will miss him.
