I send my prayers to Dr.Chionuma's family. I dreaded this day. So many layers to Dr. C he was everything to us Boss, doctor,best friend, my uncle. The very last visit we laughed in tears . Working for him was amazing he would challenge you to be your best and he taught by example. Lord why did he have to leave us. Sending prayers and love to Dr. Chionuma's family whom he spoke about always and cherished so much. As others have mentioned, Dr. Chionuma provided the most focused, stellar medical care one could ever hope for. Whether handling routine matters or a complex health situation, he left no stone unturned, researching as needed, carefully explaining all possible causes and solutions and finally making treatment recommendations. Uncle Henry was not just my uncle... he became dad after God called my father home...those two...uncle Henry and his dee Sam....the love, the brotherhood... unlike any other and Uncle's love trickled down to the rest of the Omeruahs especially my sister and I. Who will call me IJ? There will never be another like him... our hearts are broken but im happy he gets to be with Sam...we have 2 angels now...Thank you Uncle for loving me and taking me as i am.... This was the most amazing physician and friend I´ve ever known. He was the first MD I worked for when I became an RN . He taught me so much about medicine, the Bible, life... he was an amazing support and friend walking with me through so many life storms. We had SO MUCH fun at work , making us laugh , smile , making long 12 hr days wonderful . He was then my PCP . I´m extremely devastated to hear this but I know he´s sitting with the lord .
