I knew Henry from the Shiloh Inn. I was a waitress there. I've known him for 20 years. He was a kind and gentle man. I always looked forward to Saturday night when him and Pat would come up for dinner. What good people. He will be greatly missed!

My sympathy to Henry's loving family and friends. He was such a nice person to know and to work with at Channel 4.We always had fun comparing memories and names of favorite restaurants in Palm Beach. How he loved his time there!Lord bless him!

A fond farewell to one of the smoothest broadcasters ever to go on the air in Pittsburgh. Mr. Henry Dabecco was class all the way.

I remember Henry from his days at KQV and also as one of the station voices at Channel 4 for so many years. I have a short clip of Henry on my KQV website... 14kqv.cjb.net There is also a station profile from 1962 as well as Edward Blakes 1971 Pittsburgh Press article on Henry. I was able to drop off a copy of these items a couple of years ago. When I spoke to him on the phone, he truly was the gentleman every on remembers.

Henry Dabecco was my great uncle. Though I haven't seen him in several years, I always remembered him as a cheerful, kind man and someone who kept his inner child close to his heart. My sincere condolences to the Dabecco family. Please take comfort that he is at peace now. I'm sure if God needs a DJ in heaven, "Uncle" Henry would be more than happy to fill that position.
