Not sure what to say?

Here is the poem from the service, noting that it was originally written for their 50th anniversary but some changes were made to focus and honor Hank's gift to us all:

Thank You

What dreams were you holding onto
when the minister said:
I now pronounce you
man and wife?

I thought I'd put this poem from the service on this site - sometimes poems are hard to get on the first go round:

Originally written for Barb and Hank's 50th wedding anniversary five years ago but changed, added to and altered for this time:

So sorry to learn about this sadness in your lives. I'm sure he was a fine man, and I offer my heartfelt sympathy to your family.

Thinking of all of you today. Mr. Dawson was always very kind to my family, and I know my dad will miss him terribly. Wish I could be there with all of you, but sending hugs and prayers your way. xo

I'm so glad I had the chance to meet and spend time with Hank. He was a great guy and loved his family. Hank will be missed dearly. My thoughts are with you Dawson family!

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

What a great guy Hank was! Smart, funny, caring, and genuine. I've never met anyone who knew him that didn't think the world of him. I was fortunate to have shared many great times on the golf course with Hank. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Barb, I am so sorry for your loss. Hank has always been a very special friend to Don & I and we're are blessed to have known him. I wish I could be there for you. I'm in Texas right now with the kids and will be returning to FL on Monday. Please give me a call sometime soon. My prayers are with you and your family. Love - Kuke
