Henry Joseph "Hank" Dillon, Jr., formerly of Mesa, died Saturday, May 24, 2008 at his home in Sierra Vista. He was 53. Born April 4, 1955, in Colorado Springs, Colo., he was the oldest of eight children of Henry Joseph Dillon and Christine Eitzen Dillon. He was a 1973 graduate of Westwood High School, where he was a National Merit scholar, and attended the University of Arizona. Mr. Dillon served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years as a linguist and intelligence officer. While stationed in Korea, he married Kyong Suk Dillon, with whom he had a daughter, Tamara, currently of Sierra Vista. He had been working for ILEX Systems in Sierra Vista since his retirement from the military in 1998. He is preceded in death by his wife, Kyong Suk, in 1999, and his father in 2003. In December 2007, he married Yang "Sunny" Dillon. Mr. Dillon loved his family and his country and was an active member of an online community of patriots who knew him as "Jackelope Breeder." In addition to his mother, daughter and wife, he is survived by his aunt, Joyce Tinsley; brothers John and David; sisters Kathleen, Marie, Margaret, Denise and Allison, along with their spouses and children.
