Henry Levan Fulton

I still remember the day in September, 1975, when Prof. Fulton strode into the classroom at CMU and said "Good morning, lovers of good literature!" I was a wide-eyed freshman and completely terrified. I took more English literature classes from him over the years, and I am still grateful for his exacting standards of scholarship and his mentorship.
