Not sure what to say?

Here is a picture of my father when he was in the service.

So many fond memories of time spent with this family. So sorry to hear of Mr Garrett’s passing. I know he will be missed. A very special man, and a very special family. Our love and prayers go out to you.

To the family: Henry and my father, Lester Watson, were childhood friends. I did not know Henry, but through stories my father enjoyed telling, I feel like I did know him. I enjoyed learning about his remarkable life through his obituary. It is likely that Lester and Henry reconnected at Huffman United Methodist Church and that I met Henry at there during the 1980s when my brother-in-law served as Associate Minister. My dad passed away in October. I can imagine him reunited with so...

Henry was a kindhearted, modest person who always had a smile on his face. He and Ann were an outstanding couple in our church (Huffman United Methodist Church) and created a void in our church when they were no longer physically able to attend on a regular basis.
He is already missed by all!

My sympathies to Ann and the family. I salute your 71 year marriage. I enjoyed sitting a pew of two behind you at HUMC for several years.

Henry was always looking for ways to serve at Huffman United Methodist Church. He will be missed.

Betty, We hope you have wonderful memories of your father. It sounds like he was a true man of God. Maybe it’s where you received your servants heart? I full life well lived.

Please accept our deepest sympathies and we lift your family up in prayers from the Challengers Sunday School class at Asbury United Methodist Church.

Mr. Garrett was a genuinely nice man. Knowing him from HUMC & as his occasional plumber, it was a pleasure to visit with him. His natural curiosity had some mighty interesting projects around his house which always reflected his keen mechanical engineering skills.
We have missed him at church as his health would not allow him to attend, even before COVID.
Though I had the pleasure of knowing he & Mrs. Garrett for several years, it was my loss that I never got to know them sooner.
