Henry Gilchrist

In loving memory of a wonderful person. He was definitely a true Texas Gentleman in every way possible.

Another year has passed and yet my memory and appreciation of Henry remains ever strong. A true gentleman in every sense of the word. His life was a life well lived and I consider myself fortunate in knowing him as a friend and lawyer.

Perhaps the finest gentleman that I ever knew. I think of him often. I look for his advice and wise counsel in so many ways. He was everything a client and friend could have.

Almost a year has passed and I think of him often. A true gentleman in every sense of the word. I miss his counsel and the consideration that he showed me and those who were fortunate enough to come into contact with him. He was my friend and lawyer and I miss him very much.

Dear Henry,

God bless you and rest in peace. You are the finest gentleman that I've ever known. I will remember you always.

I was so sad to hear about Mr. Gilchrist's passing. He was such a wonderful man! I just loved him!!! I used to work at Jenkens and Gilchrist back from 1986-1999. I was a teenager when I started there as a receptionist. He treated me kindly and with respect, as if I was an "equal" adult. I appreciated that more that he would ever know. Those years were the best working years of my life. I have so many fond memories of Jenkens & Gilchrist. He made sure he knew all of our names and always...

And yet another "young" lawyer who was guided by Henry one summer long ago at the firm. I have always been grateful for his kindness and great example and I always remember Henry as I try to pay it forward.
