Barbara, My deepest sympathy in this very difficult and tragic time. While I did not know Henry a long long time, he certainly made an impact on me during your summer stays at your cottage in Maine. The week before he passed I collected some little interesting rocks on the beach in front of your cottage to send to him. I will still send them in his memory and he will still see them from above.

Henry touched my life in many ways. His bravery and sacrifice as a firefighter do not go unnoticed. Barbara, my heart is with you, Jim, John, Jeff and Jay. Thanks so much for the memories. . meeting me at the Long Island RR station, reunions at Hampton Bay, dinner with the firefighters at Mama Leone's. And to the boys - I know you are as proud of your father as are so many others.
With love,

Our deepest sympathy to Barbara and her family. Jim and I had the privilege of meeting Henry and Barbara for only one weekend in Maine. In just that brief time, we knew we had met two special people.
