the last time I saw hal he told me that he was just diagnosed with parkinsons but that he could still ski..not many folks know that he only had one kidney . his first BIL was steve morton who was an old pal and they mixed as does oil and water. I always liked hal and enjoyed our conversations when we met. he was a good guy. jimmy wood

My buddy Hal knew more about guns, modern, antique, it didn't matter, than anyone I have ever known. He was my friend and I could call him anytime about anything. I will really miss him. AWJ

I´ve known Hal since about 1975 when he set me up on my first real slalom ski from Roberts sporting goods. He coached and skied w me and we stayed friends through the years. I´ll miss Hal dearly but I know his body is whole again in the presence of Jesus. A life well lived

I met Hal Hamilton 37 years ago in 1988 having relocated to the Montgomery area from exile in New Jersey with the computer business. I had found an excellent Ansley Fox Sterlingworth 20 gauge double with automatic ejectors in a Montgomery pawn shop; not knowing much about classic shotguns, I took it to the Birmingham gun show. As I came through the door, a man waved me over from across the big room, he had spied that Fox shotgun and, It was Hal. That was the beginning of a long friendship....
