Henry E. "Hank" Hartman

It was almost 50 years ago that I met Hank and his family. He gave me a job scrubbing floors at his Boy Blue restaurant. From there he taught me everything from making the Cones and Bars to cleaning the Ice Cream Machine at night and how to run the business. He put his faith and trust in me like no one else had ever done. He was one of the best role models a guy could have. Henry and Nancy were neighbors to us. As a little kid, Henry always made time out of his day to sit outside with us and visit. I will never forget our many trips to Boy Blue. He was a wonderful and patient man and a great role model for our family. Sally (Cady) Brewer
