MY FAMILY LAWYER THRU THE YEARS ..LIVING IN OLDE NEW CASTLE ON EAST THIRD ST...AND SEEING MR HERNDON AND FAMILY AT IMMANUEL ON THE GREEN....REST AT PEACE NOW MR H..
THE OLDE CASTLIANS WILL MISS YOU..
THE GARRETT AND BURRIS FAMILIES

Truly a wonderful man. I had the pleasure of working with Henry at the law firm many years ago. When my husband passed away he wrote me a beautiful letter that I will always treasure. My thoughts and prayers are with you. It was an honor to know him. Sincerely, Faith

I remember Mr Herndon and his daughter "Brookey" every time I pass their old Victorian house at the end of our street. The scent from the boxwood bushes takes me back to my childhood every time I walk by that beautiful old home. We had fun times running on the wooden porch and playing dolls in that larger than life house. Thank you Mr Herndon, Brookey and family for such wonderful memories and for being so kind to everyone you met, even us pesky kids!

Mrs. Herndon, Brooke and Matthew::
This is Leah (Dougherty) Maher and Bill Dougherty's youngest daughter. I used to babysit with my Mom Mom White with Brooke and Matt and the Corgies. I am so very sorry for your loss, Mr. Herndon was a wonderful person and I am very proud to have spent the time I did with your family. With great love, Leah

Deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the Herndon family. My friendship with Matt and the Herndon's was such a very special part of growing up in Old New Castle. Mr. Herndon was ever the consummate gentleman, statesman, role model, and friend. In this time of sorrow, our hearts and prayers go out to the Herndon family.

In sympathy,

- Craig D. Tisdel and the Tisdel family

Mr. Hendon was truly a gentle soul. I remember babysitting for your lovely children and adoring you and Mrs Herndon. The love and compassion you showed to my grandmother! Two lovely children, one of which, was a flower girl in our wedding. Our deepest sympathy on your loss. Know you have many, many happy memories to cherish. Love, George & Dee Burris
