Thanks Hank for being such a great friend to our family and to our Nana Jean. You were always great with us kids and had a special presence at Ma's Christmas parties. Give NANA "tree" hugs for me and let her know we all miss her.

I believe God called Hank home because He needed more laughter in heaven. Hank had a penchant for finding humor in so many things. I remember the mischievous look in his eyes and the laugh that could rattle windows. We laughed with him, but he laughed the loudest. He had the wonderful ability to laugh at himself, especially when we poked fun at his grammar. I remember his hearty appetite. He was never cheated at the buffet table. Hank was truly a great man. He was the Grandfather that I never had and he treated me like I was his own Grandkid. He made me laugh so damn much and always had a knack for ribbing me at the right moment. I remember spending weekends with him and my Nana, Jean Burns, as a kid. I used to ride with him on patrol during his security guard days. "Hey, DJ, let's go for an ice cream" really meant 'I'm outta cigarettes, let's go for a ride.' But we always got the ice cream. Hank was not only a great man,but he was like a grandfather I never had. I will miss him a great deal,I loved how he pick on me and my son. I will deffinity miss that. Even though he was not a biolocical family member, to my family he was and will always be. we love you hank and will never forget you ever.
