Rest well Henry, you are now in a better place. I want to personally thank you for all you did for us here while you served as our Congressman. I will never forget the times we spent talking about the world.

When I started politicking in the early seventies, what better man could I have done it with than a classy guy like Henry? He made it so easy.

He made everybody feel special and he will be missed.

It was over 10 years ago that I was taking a flight out of O'Hare, when I recognized Congressman Hyde. We shook hands and I wished him a pleasant flight, for which he thanked me and extended me the same.
Henry helped me one time when Social Security messed up my records. He was a fine and decent
gentleman and our Country is better because of his service. May he rest in peace.
