Not sure what to say?

One of my best friends. What a fun character. He and Sandy were the elite of the tennis club and we figured we had it made when they let us become friends. We'll miss you, Gordie!

It was a jolt to read in "The Oregonian" of Gordy's passing. I had talked to him by phone last month and we agreed to have lunch. It didn't happen.

I moved with my family from Canada to Portland in 1942. Gordy was the first person I met. It happened as my Mother was shopping at the the Lenz Market on Prescott Street. We lived three blocks up the street on 29th.

I was a year behind Gord at Alameda Grade School but because I had the same athletic interests , he let me play on...

Condolences to Karen & Randy. I remember going to your house many years ago, Karen & were close friends.

What a great guy, he was so nice.

Gordy was my husbands dear friend growing up in the Alameda area of Portland. He was loved by John, and remained friends most of their life. They shared many memories of their childhood and playing ball together.

I just read in the Sunday paper that Randy's Dad had passed away. Our condolences to the entire Lenz family.

Randy,
Thinking of you in this tough time.

The family sends its condolences. I personally knew Gordy many years ago when I worked summers at Kelwin/ Manar Sales during college years. He was a
good man.
