Not sure what to say?

Dear Lucy, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. An entry above remembers him as a true Virginia gentleman and that certainly fits my memory of him to a T. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Chris, Hank and your sisters.
Rose Schulz Arlington, MA

Henry C. Mackall was a true Virginia gentleman. He was devoted to the organizations he loved. He earned my respect as well as many members who knew him well in the Jamestowne Society and the Order of Descendants of Colonial Cavaliers (ODCC). Henry will be sorely missed. Blessings and sympathy to his family. Carolyn K. Farmer, ODCC Board and Jamestowne Society Committee Chair

We will all miss Henry. He was a treasured member of
our ODCC, as well as Jamestowne Society, and a true
gentleman. Doris M. Sherron, Board of Directors, ODCC.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I had great respect for Henry and enjoyed getting to know him over the past few years. He was a remarkable man with a remarkable mind. My condolences to his family.

Henry Mackall was a wonderful friend. He was a mainstay of the Jamestowne Society over a number of years. It was his guiding hand that kept the financial matters in good shape when sometimes only his voice of wisdom kept us from making serious mistakes. He will be missed by officers and members alike.

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you. Henry was a valued colleague in the Jamestowne Society.
James Bagby, Past Governor, Jamestowne Soceity

Henry Mackall was deeply respected for his tireless devotion to the Jamestowne Society. His service in many capacities was demonstrative of his deep connection to his Jamestowne heritage. He was a descendant of Thomas Beale, Councillor. My deepest sympathy to his family and to his many friends in the community.

I considered Henry a very dear friend, and I always enjoyed working with him on the Board of the National Jamestowne Society. My most recent memory of Henry was of him enjoying a very large icrecream cone as he watched a parade during the weekend he attended a meeting of the Order of Colonial Cavaleirs in Richmond this Spring. He so enjoyed life, and he was a tireless worker on any project he accepted. We all grew, individually, through his support and encouragement.
