Henry Cox McCall Jr.

My condolences on your loss. I am wondering if Henry McCall is the Hank McCall of the photos attached here. This is from The Mural Room of the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, February 22, 1945. The little girl is my mother, and I can only identify my grandparents in the photo.

I had the pleasure of being Henry's barber for a couple years. I shaved him every week. Ms. Sue would bring him in and sit with us during his appointment. We would always talk about how he was in the first graduating class of Hillsboro, and how much Nashville had changed. He was a joy and always had to 'stretch his muscles' before he got up out of the chair to get the blood back flowin. Such a sweet man. I will miss him dearly.

I was blessed to have met Henry my first day at FISI in in the early 80s, as the lowest guy in the Company (me) Henry was welcoming and kind. I didn't know who he was that day but after 15 years i was blessed again to have an office right by him . I was there for like 27 years . My Biggest Blessing is that i work for him still to this day . I have watched as he helped so many from all walks of life over the years ESPECIALLY ME . THE GREATEST MAN I HAVE EVER KNOWN

I was fortunate and blessed to have worked for Hank at FISI for many years. He was an amazing man full of compassion for what he did and how he positively impacted lives. I am truly blessed that this included mine. Thoughts and prayers are with his family. RIP Hank McCall.
