Not sure what to say?

My mom Gearldine Smith Wood and Henry spent lots of time doing geniology together. Last time I spoke to him on the phone we were laughing about all the good times they shared as kids growing up together. Henry was like a brother to my mom....he will be missed.

My dad,(Rae Eastland)from Stamford served on the board at Tonkawa until his death in 1964 and his picture still hangs in the hallway. Dad was also a Silver Beaver recipient. Mr. Henry was well thought of in our scouting family.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I had the great privilege of experiencing Scouting from Bobcat to Eagle under Mr. McGinty's watch. He absolutely epitomized servant leadership. I am so glad to say that I had the opportunity last year at my son's Eagle Ceremony (which he made a great effort to attend) to thank him personally for all he had done for Scouting. His passing reminds me of the passing of another great man....

"And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Matthew 3:17

I worked with Henry at Abilene State School several years ago. He was a sweetheart of a person, I appreciated him and his friendship very much. V. Graham
