Dear Anita and Family, I just received a text reminding me of Hank´s passing. Time goes do quickly but I´m sure not for you in this case. I will always remember Hank´s humor, willingness to teach me the way of the performance world, and most of all his great performance skills as he inspired us to constantly go ever farther toward perfection as a band unit. I've come to know about Buddy's passing recently via Dr. JA Susek. My Mom, Stephanie Matkowski, was Buddy's Godmother. She recently passed on 6/6/2015, at the age of 98. My Dad, Theodore W. Matkowski, was Buddy's Dad's brother. I'm very sorry for your loss.

We are so sorry to hear of Hank's passing.
I will always remember fondly the times we three(Hank, Ron and I) spent performing as Upper Class. Hank was so proud of his band and always kept high standards for our performances.
He was a class act and a lot of fun. It was also nice getting to know you.

I was sorry to hear about Buddy's passing, and I'd like to express my condolences to Anita, Joni and Carol. As first cousins, we were close, playing together and vacationing at the Jersey shore. I'll continue to pray for Buddy and ask my St. Vincent de Paul Conference (in Frederick MD) to offer prayers.
