Dr. Henry Neale

Henry was a great teacher and role model for many in the Department of Surgery and the College of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati and an esteemed leader in our specialty nationally. We send our deep condolence to his family. His legacy will be carried forward with his paradoxical sense of pride and humility as well as integrity and humor by the many he influenced over the years. It was a gift to have him in our lives.

It is with deep sadness that I send my condolences to Dr Neale´s family at this time. I had the honor of calling Henry a friend and colleague for 22 years until his retirement in 2003. As a member of the Plastic Surgery Group in Cincinnati I would often seek his advice and counseling about challenging cases. We had the honor of participating in the teaching of his residents and through them I learned how much he cared about the specialty and proper preparation of the future plastic surgeons...

So sorry to hear of Dr. Neale's passing. He was a key part of the Department for many years and impacted many lives in a positive fashion. Our condolences to your families.
