I first met Henry Niese when he was scoutmaster for Troop 944. I spent a lot of time at his house. For his teachings, sweat lodges and his birthday party. Henry was a very kind person.

Grandpa Henry was special to many. He helped me find my first Sweat lodge. The time I spent at his home in Maryland during his lodge was always special. He was a very respectful person who was a good example for all to follow. His humbleness was always something that stood out. I'm very grateful to have got to know him through those experiences. His memory will always keep him alive in our hearts.
