Not sure what to say?

I was so saddened to hear about Mr. Pawlak's passing. I saw him at the VA in Akron, and he was such a wonderful man. I will always keep those wooly bear stickers and his CD "A tribute to my friends" I loved hearing him retell me the stories about his marshalling the parades, and his friend Dick Goddard, his Joe Walsh bad check story, and how much he loved music. I'll miss him.

Tim,Debbie, and Family -- We were so sorry to hear about your Father. He was such a wonderful person,so giving and caring to all.We happened to be out of town for the service, sorry. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all ---- John and Donna

I returned from being out of the country to learn of Hank's death. I first met him in the 1950's when I was a 5th grader at St.Augustine School in Barberton. I had been taking music lessons, and Hank started a band. A few years ago, he presented me with a photo of me at age 9 or 10 playing in the band.
(He also reminded me that he sold my dad a King Master model cornet which I used through college.)
He was proud of that accomplishment, and years later when we held the first...

I miss my grandfather and have missed him since my grandmother, Donna, passed away in 1997.

My love and sincere condolences go out to the family.

From all of us at cos you will truly be miss! I will miss you coming in and bringing me wolly bear stickers from the parades I have been collecting them for years!!

I've known Hank for a few years. He would always take time and talk with my band and my parents when we played at Rolando's. I've enjoyed his stories about the musicians he met thru the years and how he sold Joe Walsh from the Eagles a guitar. Our prayers are with you.

I had the pleasure of meeting Hank once and I was very happy to see the joy he gave my grandmother, Irene. May he rest in peace and from what I have read, he lived a life of quality. My prayers go out to his family, my grandmother and to all that new him well. Alexandra Vorbe

To the family of Hank Pawlak,my deepest and heartfelt sympathy. I date back to the late thirties when my group (Tony Gentile, drums and Pat Limosano, sax; myself the accordion ) played for his sister's wedding. In those days the gig included the band playing at the house til the bride was preparing for the big day! ! during the last few years Hank came to my house to talk about our past,in music.
Godspeed Hank.
