Not sure what to say?

HANK WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CUSTOMERS AT HENDRICK TOYOTA. WORKED WITH HIM FOR MANY YEARS. SORRY TO HEAR OF HIS PASSING.

Hank was a true example of an officer and a gentleman and a friend. Always willing to listen and offer encouragement. He was what I would call a silent leader of the Marine Corps League Detachment 1070 a quiet leader. Always there to encourage the members and take charge when necessary. Hank will surely be missed.

A man of decency, integrity and honor. A role model, a citizen, a patriot. A Marine. I will miss our conversations.

I've heard you only truly die not when you pass away in the traditional sense, but when you are forgotten by the world. In that sense, Hank was, and always will be, immortal. It is impossible to overstate the positive influence he had on the world around him.

A true gentleman - one of the first to reach out and befriend me and my family when we moved to Wilmington 20 years ago. He was the exemplar of "Once a Marine - Always a Marine." He was indeed - Semper Fidelis!

Hank was a Gentleman, a Scholar, a U.S. Marine Officer and the most endearing friend one would ever hope to know. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
