Henry Ervin Price, 85, of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Wilmington. He was the loving husband of Mary R. Price. Born on March 24, 1933 in Wilson, NC, he was a son of the late Henry W. Price and Lou Anna Rogers Price.
He was an electronic engineer all over the world with communications and a retired instructor with Cape Fear Community College.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary R. Price; three children, Ervin Ray Price, Vicky Garris (Steve) and Kristi Algeo (Don); two step daughters, Debra Heinemeier (Bill) and Donna (Chuck) Shadid; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; and two sisters, Lou Ellen Johnson and Joyce Connor.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers and two sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at 2pm on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Rd., Wilmington, officiated by Dr. Steve Spangler.
In lieu of flowers donations in Henry’s name may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Dr, Wilmington, NC 28401 or Elderhaus Inc., 2222 S. 17TH Street, Wilmington, NC 28401.
