MR. RILEY WAS MY MENTOR AT HARVARD TRUST CO. IN HARVARD SQ. DURING THE MID '60;S. HE NOMINATED ME FOR A BANK OFFICERSHIP, WHICH, AT THE TIME, MADE ME THE YOUNGEST EVER BANK OFFICER IN MASS........................RICKY FERMOYLE

My deepest condolences to Mrs Riley and the beautiful daughters and extended family I remember growing up. Mr Riley was always helpful in winter with his great snowblower, as I grew up across the st. He was always helping out when he could. Very reserved gentle man every time. I wish I had been able to play a round of golf with him, I would have been honored..I play a lot here in FL..Naples and Bonita Springs where I live for 16 yrs.I didn't know he had a home in Sarasota, 1 hr away..time has...

My condolences to Julie and her family. Julie spoke very highly of her dad. May happy memories help you all through this difficult time.

My condolences to the Riley Family. Your husband/father was a sincere and generous man in my experience, and a welcome mentor and adult in the St. John's family during my time there as a youth and teen.

Harry was a true gentleman and dedicated family man who will be missed by all. I had the great experience to work with Harry at BayBanks and later become his friend and occasional golf partner in Florida.

My wife Betty and I got to meet Harry's wonderful wife, Pat, their children, and grandchildren. Harry treasured his family above all and we offer our condolences to all of the Riley family.

I had the pleasure to work for Harry at BayBank Harvard Trust and when he ran the Retail division for BayBanks, Inc. A true gentlemen and a renaissance man! Best to Pat and the family.

My Condolences to Pat and family. As a Branch Manager for Harvard Trust Co. and BayBanks from 69-95, I have many fond memories of our association. Rest in Peace Harry.
