Not sure what to say?

John 14:27 is a comforting message. A long life is a blessing, where everyone benefits. I knew Henry Riser mostly in the late 60's. I never forgot him & the family, and still keep touch with a few. There will be rejoicing as another soul is lifted up. Love & peace, always.

I spent my first 8 years in the property and casualty insurance claims business working for Henry. He hired me as a trainee with Continental Insurance. I learned so much about this business from Henry and truly benefited from his many years of experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with and learn from him. I will always fondly remember the fun times Henry and his Shreveport UAC family had through the years.

Jimmy (Dr. James), I was very sorry to hear of your loss. Our prayer group at St. Joseph has prayed for the repose of your father's soul. I don't remember the last time I saw you. Probably about 40 years ago.

Wow where do I start? Henry did so much for me. He took a chance on me and gave me an incredible career opportunity that was unheard of at the time. He mentored me, trained me, encouraged me, guided me (sometimes painful), molded me and developed me into a person who never would walk away from a challenge. He made me believe I could do anything if I applied the appropriate effort. Opportunity was given to me and others over time that created an office that generated "many many" (his phrase)...

Henry you believed in me and helped me build a career that I still enjoy to this day. May you find new people to regale with your stories of life and history! God Speed Henry Riser!

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Henry LeRoy Riser our “Brother-in-Arms”. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Henry. And to Henry it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted...
