Henry D. (Hank) Roberts
Bow, NH - Henry D. (Hank) Roberts, beloved husband, father, brother and friend, passed away peacefully in his home on March 17th, 2025 leaving a legacy of love, adventure, and service.
Hank was born in Concord, NH on November 15, 1940 to Fred and Evelyn Roberts. He was a graduate of Concord High in 1958 and NH Technical School in 1969 with a degree in Electronic Engineering and spent most of his working years in that field.
He grew up in Concord, NH and enjoyed his summers at his family's beach house in York, ME where as a kid he enjoyed climbing the rocks and scuba diving at the Nubble. In 1962 he married his wife Heather and in 1968 they moved to Bow, NH and raised their children.
A proud servant as a member of the Army Reserve, Hank exemplified dedication and patriotism, serving his country with honor and commitment. His adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors led him to pursue activities that brought him immense joy, including snowmobiling with his children through serene winter landscapes, boating on Lake Winnipesaukee and long drives with his wife exploring the open and back roads while taking in all the many treasures of his beloved home state and New England. One great enjoyment in his later years was the opportunity to take to the skies in a small plane with his family, to experience new adventures, and sightsee across New England. Often he would even help to navigate the plane to his favorite spots so he could observe them from the air. Those airborne adventures were a testament to his boundless curiosity and love for creating lasting memories with his family. He also enjoyed visiting his family in Sarasota during the winters and exploring the waters by boat.
Hank will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His warmth, laughter, and stories of his life experiences will continue to inspire us all.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Sylvia Roberts Paul and sister-in-law Adair Blackmar. He is survived by his wife Heather Roberts, his brother Rodney Roberts and his wife Lee, his daughter Kristin and her husband David Hale, his son Scott Roberts, his sister-in law Sylvia and her husband Robert Lethbridge, many nephews, nieces, and other family members.
A celebration of Hank's life will be held in a private gathering with family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in honor of Hank be made to: Granite VNA Hospice 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, N.H. or a charity of one's choice.
Offering our deepest condolences at this difficult time.
