As the Chaplain of our Association and a shipmate of Henry, though 4 years later than he, I wish to express the sympathy and grief which we all share with his family and friends. Though many of our paths never crossed, all who served with and in years later than He share a bond with all old Enoree Sailors which cannot be understood by those who never had that privilege. Our hearts go out to the family and friends who knew and loved him and our thoughts and prayers are with them.

Dearest Linda, Richard, Barbara and extended family,
We send our heartfelt sympathy and many prayers for Henry and to you all during this difficult time and in the months ahead. We've had so many wonderful memories growing up together that you seem like family. We cherish the times we spent with Henry, all the friendly debates, the military stories told and his delightful sense of humor will be missed. May he rest in eternal peace and may all your favorite memories stay close in your heart...
