Funeral services for Henry Edison Sheffield, 86, of Rayville, LA were held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville with Bro. John Cleveland officiating. Interment followed in the Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, LA. Mr. Henry was born January 1, 1931 in Fountain Hill, AR and passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 in Rayville, LA. Mr. Henry is preceded in death by his son, James Wilkerson; wife, Wanda Sheffield; brothers, John Harvey Wilson and Jimmy Wilson; and parents, Walter William Sheffield and Laura Wilson and John Harvey Wilson, Sr. Survivors include his children, Randy Hill and wife, CeCe of Jackson, MS, Alfred Hill of Rayville, Melinda Watson and husband, Danny of Pearl, MS, Laura Smith and husband, Jerry of Picayune, MS, and Starley Sheffield and husband, Carl of Rayville; sisters, Charlotte Grey of Bastrop and Kathy Gandy of Bastrop; brother, Jerry Eugene Wilson and wife, Alice of Marion; 13-grandchildren, 17-great grandchildren, and 1-great-great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Lance Melton, Lynn Spencer, David Gibson, Eddy Fay Conley, Sr., Eddy Fay Conley, Jr., and Sean Rainwater. Visitation was 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Wednesday at Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.
