We grieve with you all in the loss of Uncle Henry. He was truly a wonderful giving person who loved his family and His Lord. Dear Mrs. Smeenk,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family, in the loss of your loved one. Through the years, the two of you have been special friends to my mom and dad, Case and Diny. You and Mr. Smeenk had a great sense of humor. You might remember the time I called you, to ask if you could surprise my parents with a "skit" at a family gathering. You were more than willing and on that evening, you both showed up in your Dutch costumes and caught my parents totally off guard....

We grieve with all of you, but rejoice in Henry's entrance into eternal life with the Lord he loved and served so faithfully. The times we interacted with him, he was always pleasant and outgoing. He surely reflected the love of Jesus to many people. We will miss him at times of extended family gatherings. Our prayers for the peace of God and the comfort of His Holy Spirit are lifted for all of you.
