Growing up in Bay Village I knew the whole Snyder family my Father Jack was friends with Moose... I watched Hank play catcher I admired him a really nice kid ,He played catch with me and Tommy such great memories... My heart goes out to the whole Snyder family David Matteson Grosse Pointe Woods Mi

I just happened upon Hank´s obituary. He was my counselor at North Woods Camp for two summers in the late `60s. Hank was a great guy. He made such a difference in my life, and although I haven´t seen him for decades I never forgot him. So sorry that we never reconnected.

How could you not love that face?

Hank was a furoscious football player, an over achiever in everything he did and the definition of a all around decent human being. This is from a friend and classmate of his at University School... Dewey Forward.

A few years ago, I tried searching for Mr. Snyder, hoping that there was information on him from when I went to school in his classroom/5th and sixth grade split at Henry David Thoreau in the year 2001. I´m saddened to hear that he passed away this year and I´m late at trying to search for him. He was the kindest most warm hearted teacher I´ve ever had. There was a running joke for the entire year. Thanks to each of you for remembering Hank - his life well lived. We know for certain he is with the Lord as he gave his life to Jesus 15 years ago. We who know the Lord in a personal relationship will see Hank again...he lives!! "For this God is our God forever and ever; He will be our guide [even] until death." Psalms 48:14-14

We will always remember our treasured times with Hank, especially when his sense of humor, his humility, and his sweetness combined with his signature brand of courage. Mr Snider was the "Best" teacher ever! My kids will remember him forever! He will be greatly miss by allwe can rejoice that we will see him again one day in heaven!
