Dear Naomi and family, Al and I worked together on the Safety Patrol in the mid 1960s. He was the old man at 26 and I was 18. He and I crewed regularly on the boat patrol and he was quite the man. I always marveled at how he maneuvered around the women. I never forgot his hours of advice and I listened to every word. I have remembered his words forever, always wear the best clothes you can afford and always pay attention to your shoes. He was the best and I have thought of him often over 57...
