Henry L. Stevenson

Henry Louis Stevenson born on July 13, 1932 went to be with the Lord on February 15, 2019 at the age of 86.   He is preceded in death by his brothers, Billy, Jackie, and Leonard Stevenson; sisters, Connie, Mary, and Gertrude Stevenson.   He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rosea Stevenson; daughters, Denise and Daphne Stevenson; sons, Darrell Stevenson and wife Patricia, Derrick Stevenson, Darren Stevenson and wife Elvira; grandchildren, John, Courtney, Adam, Alex, Devin, Natasha, Vanessa, Christopher, Joshua, Naomi, Amara, Jayden, Jonathan, Nicholas, and Jacob; 8 great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. 

Henry served his country in the US Air Force for 22 years. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren while teaching them to do wood work as well as handy work.  He was an avid fan of the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting as well as outdoor activities.   His presence in our lives will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 starting at 10:00 AM with a 12:00 PM service in the Hillcrest Chapel.   Procession will depart following service for interment at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.  Arrival 1:45PM in shelter # 5
