Henry was a mentor and dear friend. He took me under his wing when I was in high school, and taught me enough about the media business to keep me going for 40 years. I will always cherish the time I spent with him. His "News Over the Coffee Cup" was an institution in Franklin, a town that was greatly enriched by Henry's contributions to it. I will miss him.

I was deeply saddened to learn of a GREAT BROADCASTER, Henry D. Stone, being called home to live in the house of our LORD. Henry's family are in my thoughts and prayers.Henry will be missed by all that touched his life. May he rest in peace in the House of our LORD.
