Viking ship carved by Hank

Friends & Family,
Hank and my husband, Tom, worked on several projects together. He was a valued contractor and friend. Hank honored Tom with one of his carved ships. He called us to his home to make the presentation. In attendance were Hank, Virginia, son Dick, another friend, Tom and myself. We saw and were amazed by his many carvings. It became a little party. Dick played "Peg O' My Heart" on the concertina, accompanied by Hank on the harmonica. The event became one of my most...

Everyone,

Thank you for your very kind thoughts. My Father was truely "one of a kind". For those of you that were not able to attend the funeral, I would like to share my eulogy I read during the funeral service:

For My Dad

My Father was quite a Man. Married to my Mother, Virginia, for 63 years. He helped raise three Children - my Brother, Dick, my Sister, Pat and me. I also have a terrific half-brother, Ron. My Dad was very hard-working, up...

Dear Vigie,Dick and Family,
I am so sorry to hear Hank has passed away. My thoughts are with you and your family. I will remember him for the fine Red Wine he drank and of course his signature saying "HEY PAL LISTEN TO ME" with a slight push of his glasses. He is in heaven and has probably already ran into Terry.

Sincerely,
Pauline Munn

Virg, Richard and family..
I myself am surprised at how often Hank comes to mind. After working for him and knowing him for so many years, I can truly say he never let me down, I only hope I did the same for him.
The fact that he has left us shows that even God has projects that need to get done. Along with being a friend, that's what Hank did best, he got the job done.
God bless you Hank.., Keep something on the stove, the crew will be along soon.
"Jethro...."
Jeff...

I worked for Hank for two summers while going to college in the mid 1970's. He was a very tough, driven guy who pushed us hard and expected results! He tought me to work my tail off! I know he really liked me because he didn't fire me after I backed the dump truck into the side of his white pickup! We lost contact after 1975, but I think about him from time to time and was glad to have know him. He was one of a kind! My best to his family.
