Hank and I grew up together in West Rogers Park - Boone School, Cub Scouts, Mather High School. He was a very special guy who approached everything with an infectious energy. In high school, that energy went into the band and the German Club. My condolences to his family, friends and the many students who were lucky enough to have had him as a teacher.
