Not sure what to say?

Dear Nancy: We were so saddened to hear that Rev Henry passed away. You have our deep sympathy .
He will be missed by you and family and all of his church family's . He was such a faithful man of God. He was are favorite preacher. Sorry we didn't attend his funeral. We were with you in spirit and prayer. May God comfort and sustain you as He promised. What a wonderful day when we all get to heaven, that song just came to my mind ,just had to share. In His Love Rich and Annamae Vander...

We deeply appreciate the impacting ministry of this faithful servant of God to our family while we attended Bethel CRC, Zeeland. Our daughter, Sharon, who was a very young girl at the time, took many notes of Rev. VH's sermons simply because she was able to follow his well laid out messages, in good outline form. She still has little notebooks filled with those notes. We remember Rev. VH challenging us to pray for a "new heart." And now we are thankful for life eternal! Our sincere...

We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family. Two quick memories (out of many) that we have of Rev. Henry: He and Nancy drove to Grand Rapids, in a severe blizzard, to watch Kathryn's senior voice recital at Calvin. It meant more than he could have known to have their support at that time. Second, I remember vividly the message he delivered at the funeral of a relative of mine. He had just received very bad news of his own health, and the way he laid the gospel split our hearts wide...

Celebrating a life well lived. He was an inspiration to my parents and our family during their life at Graafschap CRC. (son of Stan and Rena Breuker)

So very sorry for your loss.

"We are so glad Rev. Henry was a part of our life at Lamont. What an example of a man who dedicated his life to the Lord. Thank you Holy Spirit for working in this servant in such a special way!

Gary and I remember him well. He was the pastor that married us in 1974. Wonder who has our marriage certificate? We never did get it! :). He was a wonderful example of a Godly man. Heaven's gain, earth's loss.

Henry epitomized the good and faithful servant! He was such an encouragement to my mother during her illness, and to my dad and our family after her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Henry's extended family(especially his siblings): I read of Henry's entrance into heaven in the GR Press and would extend my heartfelt sympathy to all of you.I fondly recall our days/years in West Leonard CRC where Henry's father was pastor-and a man I considered my "spiritual father"!Though a few years younger than Henry and Tom,I well recall those years together.May the God of all comfort sustain each and every one of Henry's immediate and extended family. Yours in Christ's service:...
