During this time of mourning, I would like to express my sincere condolence at the loss of your loved one. TO THE VARNELL FAMILY I AM SO SO SORRY TO HEAR THE DEATH OF YOUR FATHER. I KNOW YALL WILL MISS HIM ALOT. I KNOW I WILL MISS HIM ALOT. I WILL BE PRAYING FOR YALL. TELL RUTH I WILL BE PRAYING FOR HER TOO. IF MOTHER AND I CAN DO SOMETHING FOR YALL JUST LET ME AND MOTHER KNOW, WE LOVE YALL VERY VERY MUCH. I HAVE ENJOY SEEING FRANK WHEN MOTHER AND I VISIT. I have the fondest memories of Frank. I remember as a kid seeing him walking with the mail with that fast pace he had. He would always speak.

I was a catcher is youth baseball in Athens and he was my favorite umpire. He was always fair and conducted himself as a gentleman.

To the Varnell kids....you can say that you had a wonderful father. I know how great that feels, for I had one also. Among you, I knew Dave better than the rest, but to all of you, I feel for you and...
